Right now we are being bombarded with green-faced witches — with warts, pointy hats, and cartoonish spooky expressions to get us into the Halloween mood.

As a woman who celebrates nature, magic, and animals I could take this as an insult, but honestly my time is limited so I don’t bother with this sentiment for too long.

However, it inspires me enough to make the world a little better for those of us who are misunderstood and judged.

Life as a Nature Witch

I honestly do not prescribe to a particular form of witchy-ness. Instead, I embrace what comes naturally to me. I do what my intuition guides me to do. I guess you would describe me as a self-designed nature witch.

For me, this is the time of year I pull in and remember my roots. The roots I am talking about are those that I get from nature and animals. That special vibration that buzzes my soul to notice the incoming message from the powers that may be. The wisdom of sharing the energy of the nature spirits, my dog, and the wild creatures that I share life with.
